An ancestral city; through its delicious botanical garden and its branched canals, we observe the clues and traces of its ancient culture. Two couples of men and women, former lovers, meet again one year later. The yesterday's breath of youth is still perceptible in their conversations. Is it still possible for us to love? Does youth really have an end? Like the networks linking the old city, what type of ecological existence does their culture require?

An intimate portrait of the Duwamish River becomes an act of witnessing and advocacy. Through poetic voiceover and observational imagery, the film explores the river as a living being—asking how naming, stewardship, and community connection shape the vitality and legacy of the place.

Languid and immersive, a river holds a perfect memory is an itinerant exploration of the interplay between human life and bodies of water as they relate to mobility and the Anthropocene. Contrasting disparate but interlinked sites, we drift between archival imagery of industrialising Lancashire and recent diaristic footage shot on Jamaican waterways – from sunlit raft meanders by day, to the depths of bioluminescent lagoons at night. Grounding questions surface amidst a textured organic soundscape, with the film bearing witness to the reservoirs of memories, racialised histories and transformative labour practices contained within waterways.

An unsolved murder case of a young girl repeats itself twenty years later and awakens the memories of a peaceful town. Shan Feng, who was once a witness to the murder case, now returns to the town as a policeman, unable to forget the painful memories. He seeks out the truth and discovers all the people related to the case have undergone drastic changes.

Burned-out Hollywood screenwriter Bo Aikens is fed up with life in Los Angeles. He heads out of the hustle and bustle of the big city and arrives in picturesque Black River in Northern California, seeking relaxation and artistic inspiration. In small, idyllic Black River, nearly everyone is happy, contented, and welcoming of strangers. But despite the beautiful setting, Bo begins to feel unsettled after several disturbing incidents. He discovers that all of his money has been transferred to a bank account in Black River, and a house has been purchased for him by someone on "his" instructions.
